Question about the upcoming Terok Nor series

Will the upcoming Terok Nor series solely be focused on Terok Nor / Bajor / Cardassia, or will it also mention other DS9 characters?

For example:

Dukat was busy torturing Bajorans on Terok Nor, blah, blah, blah.

... Meanwhile in Federation territory Jadzia was busy dating half of the male population in Starfleet, Sisko was busy cooking in his kitchen, Bashir was busy trying to find a cure to the Ebola Virus, O'Brien was trying to figure out what a self-sealing stem bolt is, etc...

I was just curious. Thanks!

Judging by everything I've heard so far, it seems like it's going to be pretty much focused on Cardassia and Bajor. But, I guess we could still get a couple suprise cameos or something.

How the hell did you get a copy of my manuscript?!?

But seriously; I can't speak for Stephanie or Britta, but Day of the Vipers is set almost entirely on or around Bajor, dealing (for the most part) with Bajoran and Cardassian characters.

Hmm, do we know if Elias Vaughn had ever visited Bajor before 2376?

Knowing how much that man traveled I wouldn't be at all suprised.

That would be an interesting experiment--involving Vaughan in every facet of continuity. Have him visit the Kazon in the Delta Quadrant before helping to invent the holodeck only days before he traveled back through time and engineered the death of Edith Keeler.

Wow...that brief review was awesome...I as well can't wait to see this...definitely ties in nicely with the post-What You Leave Behind novels. Now, that said, these books are going to be out before Fearful Symmetry, although they were originally supposed to be out after had the original schedule and circumstances permitted it...I'm curious whether or not we're going to be a little spoiled and if we're going to see some elaboration regarding the ending of Warpath in Book 2 or 3 of Terok Nor.

Jeff, if you're reading this; the cash is in the usual place. :)

James, are you trying to rival David R George III for number of words? How many words is DotV anyways? And how long was Crucible: McCoy: Provenance of Shadows?

Yeah, I have to admit Day... is a long one; but I enjoyed every second of it. I hope the rest of you folks do to. A political thriller is a long way from my usual stuff-blowin'-up writing, but it great to do - and I can't wait to see where Stephanie and Britta take things...

Question I was looking on Amazon I think and next to the publisher's and it said March 25 I think but when I looked again it said Aprilso was the release post poned ?

The book hasn't been delayed; it's still an April release, which means that depending on your location it will become available somewhere between mid-March and mid-April. Amazon just put "March 25" as a guess for the rough time period when they'll have the book in stock. It means nothing.

Since the book takes place more the 50 years before them I doubt it will relate to much to Warpath or Fearfull Symmetry.

Pardon me if someone has asked this already about the series of books, but, how long do Cardassians live? Are they somewhat like Vulcans? Given the date that this book begins starts and Dukat is in it, he must be, what, about 70 when the television series takes place?

Maybe not Book 1, but Book 2, or in particular, Book 3 might, considering the timeframe fits with the established history of Kira Nerys and Illiana Ghemor. Regardless of it is does or not, it's still going to be one awesome trilogy, that's for sure.

I remember the bad, old days, when it seemed like every book that Pocket put out (and I'm sure that this was a Melacon directive ) must have 273 pages. Honestly, every story that came out was 273 pages long, at least here in Canada. It's great to see these large novels coming out... it makes it a little less painful paying the $9.99 plus prices that we get up here.

"Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night" set the precedent, showing Dukat already serving as prefect of Bajor back when Kira was three years old.

Besides, Vulcans aren't the only long-lived species. We've seen that Klingons can live to be well past 100, and so can humans in the 24th century. Heck, Picard was 74 as of Nemesis and still going strong.
