Question about the "Chewie Dog" Commercial

Is the kid in the Samsung star Wars "Chewie Dog" commercial a boy or a girl?

And don't answer yes; I already know that almost all children are either one or the other.

I thought that the kid was a boy, but today, reading several several descriptions of the commercial, the kid is described as a girl in some, and as a boy in at least one.
