question about spore drives

as a techie and a trekkie, i, like many others here im sure, have decided to build my own spore drive and install it into my pt cruiser to replace my previous gps system. i have run into a problem tho. whenever i drive onto a playground full of children and start doing donuts, my spore drive will overheat and emit an EMP that knocks out all power in a 50 mile radius, including my car, which makes getting away very difficult. i suspect that the constant rotation of earths magnetic fields are the primary cause for this, since spore drives are primarily meant to operate in space, and not around global magnetic fields for extended periods of time. so i have considered installing my spore drive into a plasma based gyroscope to counteract the magnetic fields that interfere with the drive. but the problem is that i will need to invent a new interface from the ground up which i am still unable to figure out how to do.

my qustion is, what kind of interfaces do you all use for your spore drives?

You are in good company.

In answer to your question, you will probably have to do what Stamets did and initiate a horizontal gene transfer from a giant tardigrade, so that you can act as a living navigational interface with the drive.
