Question about recovering video files

I used the free PhotoRec software to recover video files from a micro SD card. Three of five videos were recovered. I then used Pandora Recovery and could see that the other two video files were there and undamaged. I retrieved the files from the card and they're now on my computer, but they won't open. Any suggestions on why only three could be recovered and opened and how I can open the two that won't?

Saying they "won't open" tells us nothing. What program are you using to open them? What error message do you get?

You might try opening them with VirtualDub

Just because a file can be recovered doesn't mean it isn't hosed.
