Question about getting the series DVD box sets (TNG & Voy)

I use to keep changing my mind about wanting to buy the 7 seasons of TNG and also Voyager. Maybe I'll through DS9 in there too anyways.

If TNG is getting remastered...should I wait until they put the remastere DVDs for TNG (and if they do Voyager too) to buy them or just get the regular versions?

Since VOY's effects are only a few years old, I doubt they'd be remastered any time soon.

As for TNG's, I don't see how it matters. The only thing that would change is the special effects. The story, the episodes, the characters would be the same.

Why not go ahead & get 'em?

The bigger difference for TNG will be IF CBS decides to rescan the film and release TNG in HD. An HD release on Blu-Ray or HD-DVD is worth waiting for if the filmed scenes will be rescanned. If it ends up just being an upscale then your TV/DVD player can probably do just as good a job.

I've got all season of TNG and DS9. Just started getting VOY. It's still decent enuff quality. Makes me feel like a kid all over again when I watch them!!!

I have complete TOS, Movies 1-6, First Contact, complete DS9 and complete VOY. I also have the "Q" collection. Nothing from ENT though.
