I did some extensive Googling.
No matter how much bullshit FUD is spread about this, keep one thing in mind:
Just because you're not getting as much withheld THIS year doesn't mean you will ultimately owe more in tax NEXT year.
This is because the underlying tax laws, not just the withholding tables, are being changed; individual taxpayers are getting a $400 credit, and families a $800 credit. But instead of stimulus checks, like last time, this one's being manifested in the form of decreased withholding from your paycheck, so you will have more take-home pay.
YOU WILL NOT OWE ANY MORE TAXES NEXT YEAR because of this decreased withholding.
