I went out this evening and acquired the needed ingredients to recreat the "liquid latinum" drink made famous by Quark's bar at the Las Vegas Hilton. I got an nice response from the guy working at the liquor store when I asked him about where I can find the drinks. I showed him the recipe for the warp core breach and I thought his eyes were going to pop out his skull.
After having purchesed the needed items, I made my homemade liquid latinum and it's pretty close to what I remember especially being in a "Quark's bar restaurant" glass that I ordered from there. When I was trying to make it, I gained a whole new respect and appreciton for the bartenders that worked there and really anywhere.
Thanks to Jeff and the guys at uglycouchshow.com Quark's will live on spirit. I'm thinking about having my own Halloween Alien bash and mixing different Quark's drinks and my guests playing the Klingon Challenge VCR board game, could be fun.
