Quantum of Solace theme leaked in Coke CM

It was an instrumental version of his song, unless that is how the song will appear in the film. From my understanding, White did that version specifically for the film/ad. Apparently I was misinformed.

Regardless, I wasn't that impressed with the song. Seemed kind of weak, to me.
 
Hmm, the song doesn't appear to impressive, but I'll wait and see until I hear the full version.

Anyhow, I think the fact that it first appeared in a commercial ties in very well with all the "product-sponsored shit" :D.
 
I dunno, I heard some potential for goodness in there. I think it'll sound a bit different in the movie, plus hearing the entire song with vocals will make it seem like an entirely different song.
 
I kinda liked how it sounded. It felt very Bondian with a mix of the 60s and 80s sound, and it also felt like a good song to continue on from "You Know My Name." I look forward to the finished version.

People said the same thing with "You Know My Name" when that was first released.

I always maintain that movie theme songs -- especially the Bond ones -- always sound better when you hear them on the big screen for the first time.

I think the music sounds great. But I will have to point out that Chris Cornell is far FAR superior to Jack White.

I was just wondering what "Coke CM" might be.

It would seem that CM = Cah-Mercial.

Oh, so both Jack White and Alicia Keys are singing vocals on "Another Way to Die"? That's cool. Has a duet ever sung a Bond theme before? I can't think of any examples.

I'm trying to remember what song I'm thinking of, but the very beginning is very reminiscent of a tune I used to like. I'm thinking it was either Portishead or Sneaker Pimps (the bada---bada---bada---bada-bada-bada horn opening). I'm positive that I've heard something like that before.

Anyone else have any idea of what I might be thinking of? Again, it's something like Portishead or the Sneaker Pimps.
 
So when is this going to be fully released? With the movie or on music channels before that?
