I give it an above average. I loved the clown car. As soon as I saw that, I thought, "Oh no....they won't!" And they did! :guffaw:

Of course, Emerson had all the best lines. I just adore him.

I wonder what happened with Ned's father? Will we ever see him? I rather miss Olive. She and Emerson had great banter.

I wonder if Diana Scarwind as the Nun will somehow be the much-talked about link to "Wonderfalls?"

Great episode. Voted excellent!

The clown car thing was hilarous. The mime thing was too.

Heck, the whole episode was funny!

There is currently no other show on tv that brings such a smile to my face. Great series.

Of course, when Eli Stone comes back, there will be too wonderful, wacky, fun shows to watch. :)

" And amazingly, both on ABC! "

Pretty good episode. I was a little more prepared for this series' "whimsy" and style of story telling this go-around so I enjoyed it a bit more.

The clown-car bit was a hoot, though.

"And the mimes aren't talking..." :D

Emerson ordering the mom to love her daughter - too fabulous!

Chi McBride is the best performer on television today.

And I finally realized - or perhaps I realized this last season and forgot until last night - this show is paced (pardon the expression) like a 1930's comedy with the witty repartee flying so fast and furious between the actors that one barely has time to appreciate one witticism before the next comes along!

But next week's episode looks to be the funniest episode EVER!

Father Dowling and Sister Christian?!

:D :D :D Can't wait!

I actually watch this show with closed captions so that I don't miss any of the fast-paced quick-witted dialogue.

Yet another great episode.

Loved this episode, which is a great relief after last week's premiere which left me really cold. The case was more interesting, the dialogue was sharper. I love every member of the cast - I can't pick a single weak link among them. Got some renewed optimism for the series, just hoping it can pick up in the ratings a bit now and stay on the air.

Above Average, closer to Excellent than last week.

"There's a weird mask."

"I'm begging you to stop."

:rommie:

Yeah, Emmerson is just great.

"Circuses aren't supposed to smell like this. They're supposed to smell like popcorn and cotton candy. This place smells like... [he mentions some unpleasant things, not sure what.]"

It was Father Mulcahy. (from MASH)

Another great episode (I loved Emerson ordering the mother to love her daughter), but I also wondered what happened to the Ned's father cliffhanger from last week.

Late watching, I know, but much like Ned and Chuck at the end of the episode, I just fell in love with this show all over again. A massively happy excellent! :D
