Psychoville Halloween Special

Bob The Skutter

Complete Arse Cleft
In Memoriam
Psychoville returns with a spooktacular hour-long Halloween special.

Four tales of terror unfold as location manager Phil Walker investigates the abandoned ruins of Ravenhill Psychiactric hospital.

Does the ghost of evil Governess Edwina Kenchington still walk the empty corridors? What other horrors lie within the crumbling walls and will health and safety allow any filming there in the first place?

Psychoville is written by and stars Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton.

I'm looking forward to the return of Psychoville, this is only a one off with a new series next year. Apparently there was a trailer on last night after Match of the Day but I've not been able to find it online.

I'm pleased Halloween is on a weekend this year so it does not matter what shift I'm on when this airs.:techman:

Been looking forward to this special. And I also missed the trailer. WANT TRAILER NOW!

Hopefully, but it is listed as unplaced, surely they could have just put it on Halloween.

They have put it on Halloween itself- The trailer that was on last night between Mark Gatiss' History of Horror and Brides Of Dracula gave the airdate as October 31st...

Loved it! Not as freaky as the trailer, but lots of great Psychoville loveliness - and a nice lead in to series 2! It reminded me of the LoG Xmas special with the format and that..

It was pretty good - not mad on Jelly having a hook in 1997 when he only got it in 2005, though - but they did make the point several times throughout that the stories aren't correct.

Nice trailer at the end for season 2 - I'm guessing Jolly and his mother, plus the two characters from tonight, are the four dead, and that all the regular characters will be in next season.

Loved it. The ending reminded me of the ending of the first series of Being Human. Mr. Jelly and David and his mum were my favourite bits.

I thought the same about Mr Jelly and his hook, but as you say they made the point of basically saying the "researcher" made it up.

I loved this. Can't wait for series 2, and considering I hadn't seen the first series for some time, when it was revealed they were in the asylum at the same time everyone from the first series was, i had a big ol grin on my face :P
