Psych reunion movie coming in December

One of USA Network’s longest-running series, Psych, is coming back to the network with a holiday movie. The film, from Universal Cable Productions, hails from Psych creator Steve Frank and will feature the series’ core cast led by James Roday and Dulé Hill.

They will be joined by Maggie Lawson, Corbin Benson, Kirsten Nelson as well as fan favorite Timothy Omundson, who is on the mend, recovering after a stroke. The script is being adjusted to accommodate him.

I got bored with the show during the third season and stopped watching it but I'll probably watch this. Too bad about Timothy Omundson. I hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

I wish they would wait more than three years, like 5 years is a good time. The show is stupid but fun. I still need to watch the last 4 seasons.

And Timothy Omundson had a stroke?!?! Too young! Glad to see he is well enough to at least do a small part for the movie.

Good to see official confirmation (Cary Elwes mentioned it in an interview a week or two back, so I suspect that he will be part of the cast). I wonder if they could convince Tony Shaloub to join in as Adrian Monk, given the not so subtle reference to the character in the Psych series finale.
