Season premiers were last night (or were they a week ago?) but I liked both episodes. Monk was pretty good with Brad Garrett as guest star.
Psych and Monk have returned!

I had forgotten about the Psych premiere, but fortunately the TiVo didn't. I loved the look on Carlton's face when he realized who it was he had just borne his soul to.
Enjoyed both premieres. Got a little teary at the end with the dedication to Stanley Kamel. Glad Monk went back to the apartment. Yes, I realize Brad Garrett destroyed the house, but it just didn't fit Monk. And it would have driven me insane watching him be OCD with that much room.
I thought the Psych writers took Sean's anger at Henry a bit far. We've never seen the level of vitriol we saw last night. I was surprised and a bit disappointed in Sean, but as a kid of divorce I understood it. Cybil Shepard surprised me. The last time we saw her was as Martha Stewart. She was really good. A nice, calm, actually really sweet mother. I was expecting a shrew.
Gus...what can I say? He really tried to be strong and fearless. Proud of him.
I loved Carlton's therapy sessions. He really is batshit crazy. Missed Juliet. I'll be glad when she's back into the mix.

Psych was neat. I, too, found Sean's teaction a bit much. Gus was super, the confusion on his face when he got his raise was priceless.
