PS3 or PS2 Trek or Trekish games

Hey guys, I just got a PS3, and have not owned a gaming console since the Odyssey2 days. I went to PC gaming when they clearly had the edge in processor power, and the games being made were more Trek 25th Anniversary-like then progressed to the great Final Unity and DS9 Fallen. More adventure/strategy if that's the right designation for games like that?

I got Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and am really impressed, and was wondering what PS3 or even PS2 titles come close to that either in the Trek or Sci-Fi arena. BTW, the PS3 is truly a step forward in gaming, and I can't wait for Trek to come to it. I see Lucas is making an Indy game that looks great.

Now, if i can just teach myself how to use two thumb-sticks, and 12 buttons at the same time?!? Any tips on the controller would be great too.

None that I'm aware of for PS3. PS2 has Star Trek Encounters, Star Trek: Conquest and Star Trek: Shattered Universe. And there was Star Trek: Invasion for PS1.

None of the above are very good, however.

I think there was also a PS2 version of Elite Force, although I never played it.

^ Thanks so much. Just had a friend lend me Encounters, Elite Force and Shattered Universe. Encounters looks fun, but controlling the ship is a bitch.

I played Elite Force on the PC, and I have to say it was much better than this PS2 version, esp. with all the great mods from ToonLoon. While repetitive, I like Shattered Universe, using the cheat codes, it's fun to be able to see all the missions based on the classic series.
