PS3 and Mortak Kombat arcade collection problem

Can anyone help?

I paid for - and downloaded - the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection from the PlayStation network for like ten bucks or something maybe last winter. I would play it once in a while. But now it has disappeared. When I click on something that looks like a shortcut for it in "games" it's just an update button and I'm informed that game is updated. But where is the actual game. I tried to redownload it from the store but that won't do anything. Can anyone help?

The downloaded item - the way you're describing it - appears to be the installer. Try opening the context menu when you have it selected on your XMB. Does it say "install" or "play/run"?

If it says "install", it sounds like you already installed the game. If you're unable to find it in the games folder (or a subfolder), then you might wanna try re-downloading and re-installing it.

Yeah I was on the phone with them, and they couldn't help me. I even redownloaded the game and waited, and I get the same message that the latest update is already downloaded, but I'm unable to play it.

You could always back up your essential files and do a system restore, and then try re-installing it.
