Prototype Help - SPOILERS

I need some help and I am too cheap to buy a strategy guide and I cant find one that goes up to the level I am on, on the internet.

I am at the part where the chick he is after is transformed into some monster and comes up out of the street I think level 39. She has these huge tentacle things that smack you down and at certain times she bellows and the sound waves knock me around. During all this I am constantly being attacked by her minons.

I know I gotta weaken all three of her huge tentacles and I did that once, but they grew back and I had to weaken them again and I gave up. It is nearly impossible to get near her because she blows these green bombs at me and pieces or concrete which tear my health down. I then gotta go to a side street and fight her minons to get my health back up.

I have tried everything to defeat her and so far no such luck. I even used the spike power devastator thing where all these spikes come out the ground, but most of the time I am getting my butt kicked all over the place.

Anybody know how to defeat this chick?

I finally beat her last night. The only way to do it is to keep attacking her, running away to fill up your health then go in and attack her again. It took me nearly 30 minutes, but she finally died.

Yep. Took me about 40 min or so.

Run up the nearest skyscraper. If your health is low, grab an infected first and consume him on a ledge, or wait for the hunters to find you and defeat and consume them. I used blade + armour. Soon as you get some decent height or have reached the top of the skyscraper, jump off, target Mrs Greene & then do the powerslice thing (the one that busts tanks in one hit. Triangle button on PS3). If her green blobs hit you, target her and hit the button again. After you land on her do a few combo slashes to the base and then run away up the skyscraper, grabbing infected or consuming hunters on the ledges (which are out of line of sight of her green blobs). Repeat like 200x.
