Interesting take so far. I'm curious do you guys not have the Starfleet Delta? I think if you had them on the uniforms, they would look more regular since you don't have the jacket on your characters.
Glad to see you also had the Ready Room added on since we don't really know when the Ready Rooms came back on starships.

I think he's got a Starfleet insignia on his neck which is even cooler. Love the white shirt. TAS had a white captains chair which I thought was ultra-cool for some reason - just different than TOS which was a little boring. Do they have communicators. I always thought the communicators should be sown into the uniform's insignia and not be a stupid pin on them as in TNG.

Thanks, guys. We were thinking of the tunic you see McCoy wear in ST:TWOK. It's basically where he took his maroon jacket off. It had no insignia. We opted to go for that look originally, but had enough feedback to add the delta back on. After our seventh production, "The Engineer's New Clothes," we switched to a mock turtleneck and added the delta.

The pin on his neck is his rank pin. The communicators are hand held devices, but our pants have pockets they are generally put into. We made a few creative changes like this since we're in the post-TOS movie era. Who's to say Starfleet didn't add pockets back in for a while?
