Prince of Persia: Sands of Time movie trailer released

Check it out. It's being made by producers of Pirates of the Caribbean and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Ben Kingsley. The movie is about a prince looking for a treasure that can control time and will be out next summer.

I've been following the movie for a while and the trailer looks cool. They'll be plenty of action at least. I hope they have lots humor like the Pirates movies. We might actually get a decent video game adaptation this time!

I love those games. Awesome plot, action, and fun characters. I hope they don't ruin it like they did Max Payne.

This looks exactly like a live-action version should be. However, why is Jake Gyllenhaal, an American, speaking with an English accent while playing a Persian? Kind of funny actually.

^ The accent he's doing is actually quite similar to the accent of the actor who voices the Prince in the video game, although not as 'gruff'.

So long as the Prince tricks someone into getting sliced in half by a huge metal blade at some point, I'm cool with it.

I wonder if the Prince will die in the movie, followed by the voiceover "No, wait. That's not what happened..."
