Merry Christmas to those who have been accompaning me on my medical journey over the last couple of years. It's been another couple of months and I have significant news. I've been walking with my cane for the last three months without any complications so far, although with all the cold weather here the last couple of months my scar and hardware has been irratating me.
I attend physio twice a week and starting in the new year will be attempting to incorperate an aquatic fitness program in my recovery and weight loss program (the theory being if I loose ten or fifteen pounds it will be a lift off my foot), something that I've been thinking about doing for the last couple of months anyways.
Also I visited a physio doctor and he suggested that I get a brace made for my foot that would help leviate the pressure on my heel and ankle with a rocker lift and it would slid into my shoes. It costs 3500 dollars and I'm awaiting for ministry approval for it hopefully in the next couple of weeks...this is the last step in helping my foot. If it fails then i will have to endure a partial amputation of my foot.
That's pretty much everything that has been going on...getting work done finally on correcting my misaligned spine and pelvis. The pelvis slowly still is pushing my pubic bone, it's now about 2.5 centimeters to the left part of my body. My family doctor assured me that nothing will happen to my privates during this as apprently pregnant women go through the same thing in drastic cases.
