Post your Star Trek desktops/wallpapers (large images)

I just changed by Win7 desktop to a Star Trek XI theme, the one shot of the E from the movie that really made this new ship THE Enterprise for me (though I'm still not 100% happy with the proportions). USS Enterprise at Titan.

Kewl! Ships named Columbia seem to have some baaaad luck.

Can you "stretch" the image without distortion?

Sure. Here it is at 1024x768.

Sorry, I meant could you do the "stretch" option so the image covered your entire screen (if that's what you wanted)?

Since STIX is extremely widescreen, I left the black bars as is and can keep icons and gadgets in those areas.

You sure do like a lot of icons. I'm just the oppposite, as few as possible. I only have the "documents" one up there because the "My Documents"
keyboard button still leads to my old XP Documents folder on D:.

Too much there to move to the current "docs" folder.

I'm hoping to find a more "Win7" looking version of FreeBar.

Let's just say I don't worry about the icons very much. I'll sometimes select an image which doesn't have a lot going on along the left edge, and one of these days I might toy with arranging the icons along the top or bottom of the screen, but it hasn't seemed urgently in need of doing.

The one thing I hate about MUD terminal computers at work is that I can't remove any icons. Even ones that don't point to anything anymore.

But how about a desktop system running under an LCARS system?

Huh, that's weird. It does it for me on the large image too, but not on the thumbnail in the OP. But the large image is full size, so not a huge deal there.

I'm running 1680 x 1050 on the desktop.

That's not a theme. It's a screenshot from a PC running an LCARS system instead of Windows. The program it's running it just a parody of a desktop system, complete with a BSOD. Sorry for the late reply.
