Post Yo Ride!

Ignore your sensible side at least once when it comes to cars. You won't regret it, promise!

Well, I am thinking of compromising. Keep the sensible motor and see if I can afford to get something like an Ariel Atom for my less sensible days:lol:

My good old 20 year old Suzuki GS 500E

I purchased my first car yesyerday. It was actually a bit more compact than I was orginally looking at, but it has better mileage and will be better overall for city driving. My biggest concern was if I could fit my stand-up bass in it which seemed like a stretch when I first looked at it, but then I found out the front passenger seat folds forward. So it has a lot of room for a smaller wagon. Plus it was 20% cheaper than the other two cars I was looking at.

So here schlee is (sorry for the bad phone pic):

Very sleek design, Brew.

I bought a used VW Passat a couple of years ago, and it's still in pretty good running and overall condition. I love the V6 engine ... Whatever my next car is, I won't settle for anything less than a V6.

Thanks.

One of the other cars I was looking had a V8 and that was pure sex in terms of "Go". However, this car was actually a smoother ride and handled better on the roads. I can turn on a dime.

Maybe in 6 years I will buy something with more power, but I did someone uphill highway driving yesterday and this car performed very well, especially for having a V4.

Sorry to nitpick, but it has an I-4, as in inline 4-cylinder.

That's why I took a car savvy buddy of mine while looking for cars. He actually knows this stuff.

Thank you! :)

Its a lovely old beast, not powerful and not fast either but it has tons of character. :D
