Possible TWO New ENTERPRISE's?...(Spoilers?)

(My apologies for posting this twice but my question got ignored in the original thread I posted in and I'm particularly curious about this...)

Wasn't there a rumor that there are TWO ENTERPRISE's in Trek 11??

WHAT IF...

... at the end of this new Trek Movie, we find out that the New "FUNKY" ENTERPRISE that 'WE' have seen so far, is really the Version that Captain's April & Pike commanded and that when Kirk takes over command...

...Officially, from Starfleet...

...and after the events at the heart of this movie...
(similar to what 'WE' THINK happened during The Original Series same time period.)

...The ship has been sent to dry dock for repairs of the "Movie-Inflicted-Damage" and in the process, is ret-conned by having the Secondary hull pushed back and the bridge interior redone in a little bit of the original muted colors???...(kinda like the difference between The Cage and WNMHGB ENTERPRISE's.)

Thus kinda-sorta RE-Establishing TOS, keeping everything within canon (mostly)... & also possibly explaining the statement of the Nu-Chekov guy?

After all...'WE' really haven't seen ALL of the movie,,, YET...

Just bits and pieces glued together in what appears to be a somewhat hap-hazard manner in this Trailer.

Maybe 'WE' are jumpin' the gun and getting bent outta shape for nothing??

Maybe JJ is gonna surprise the ever-livin'-shit outta ALL OF US!!

That Orci dude does kinda keep kinda sayin'... (paraphrasing)
"...Just wait and see, things ARE Canon explainable..."

Oh...and I don't think I've said it yet... after just seeing the new Trailer, even this Old-Time Trek-Geek is exicited & lookin' forward to seeing the final product.

That's one way to do it.

So if the IX-erprise gets damaged during the movie and fixed up to look more like the remastered TOS version, then we're staying within the same universe.

It could also be explained that all ships around this time are getting upgraded to look this way - that's why all Constitution class ships look the same inside?

Imagine "Yesterday's Enterprise" but instead of just the ship interiors looking different in the new timeline, the ship exterior had differences too...

Yeah. I get your point, I understand ALL the ways that things can look different during the movie and after... if that's what 'WE' end up with.

But, my point is a WHAT IF,...
...They (JJ & Company), DO INTEND to keep thing's as close to what 'WE' believe is Canon before all this Romulan interference?

(that sounds a bit harsh as a reply, but it wasn't intended to be, sorry)

Give me a break! Will not happen, although I wish!

What if... this thread contained actual spoilers?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but spoilers are when inside information about an upcoming release are leaked out, by accident or intentionally.

Sure. Paramount paid Abrams gobs of money to shovel out to his guys so he could satisfy the fanwank people who want the Phase II design brought back.

Nope. Try again.

What if..you saw the QUESTION MARK at the end of the Thread Title?

Put there because I wasn't sure at the time if this was a SPOILER or Not.

It seems like years ago, now, but someone did get an inside look at a starship that apparently looked "bad-ass," like a warship. That might be where this rumor started. My guess, now, is that the person saw the Kelvin.
Someone with a better memory may back me up on the report.

I'm not looking for FAN-WANK.

I'm trying to put bits and pieces of RUMORS together with what 'WE' have (& HAVE NOT) seen as logically as possible to explain what 'WE' have heard.

I remember that - but I thought the quote went something like "we see an Enterprise, not like the one we remember but a warship and we realize that something has changed"

So maybe we do see two Enterprises. I am going back to look at quotes and update here.

I'm sorry, but I don't think that's the way they're going.

For example, they seem to have ignored the WNMHGB uniforms, and gone right into the regular series uniforms at a point they weren't being used yet in the original timeline.

I doubt they're going to depict a change back to the original look of the ship. At least it'd be something to make things more like the original if they did, but I doubt it.

Wasn't it Orci himself who said there were two Enterprises in this film, and that one was a 'warship' from an alternate time line?

* C'mon, just find a girlfriend.

I think it was at TrekMovie.com that I read this? Back when the first trailer came out, I'll see if I can track it down.

I do remember reading an article about there being several different Enterprises. Remember, what we've seen of her so far is a few two second glimpses in the trailer, one released photo, and the twenty minute sequence that was screened this past week. Still leaves an hour and a half of movie. :)

It would be OK with me if they did that at the end. Thoughthe E still wouldn't have to look exactly like it did in the TV show. I'd like the bridge to be a little more black though....that doesn't mean it has to look exactly like the TV show either.
