Okay, so as usual we have a poll with everyone's pick of actors to play the 12th doctor. I was thinking of changing the poll to one vote per person, but I think I'll stick with the three votes.

I'm not suggesting they cast an actual amalgam of the previous 11 Doctors. I'd prefer an unfamiliar actor for the part, so the face is more about the 'vibe' I'd like to see. Don't worry about it.

One tip for these threads: you might find it useful to do a "recap" in the entry thread before you run the poll, in order to catch mistakes. It also allows you one last chance to ask questions if you don't recognize or understand someone's entry.

I dunno, I think most people where were going to vote have voted by now. There was little to be gained by setting the poll to run for a week IMO.

Congratulations to Benedict Cumberbatch (Chris3123) who won by just one vote! Looks like people still want Cumberbatch was the 12th doctor, but Siddig nearly got it as well.

personally, I think Cumberbatch would work a lot better as the Master, he's the perfect adversary for Matt Smith just like John Simm was for David Tennant.

Maybe the next contest should have something to do with the missing episodes, considering the recent kerfuffle regarding the rumors of possibly rediscovering as many as 90 missing episodes.
