I have an autumn deadline, which sounds like a lot of time but I already lost two months on it because of other projects, and am currently drowning in a chaos of handwritten notes... which I neglected to number, as usual... and there's not even a guarantee the second draft is going to meet with approval - so I need some crossed fingers!

I could now make some grand announcement along the lines of, "watch out for a book called XYZ to come out in *^", which I'm not going to do, as I'm not sure it will be published when I think it will, and the title is still my working title and they'll most probably want to call it something else. So to prevent general embarrassment, I'll let you know when it's all finished and in the bag.
