Hey Everybody...

Well, as I had mentioned in my other thread a while back, I've really been wanting to make this . We found out last Monday that we're going to be having a little boy, so I knew it was time to get started.

I'm going to be making two huge movie sized posters to go up in the new nursery... but I wanted to go on and show you guys. As far as I know, there's not really anything like this out there.

Basically, It's the starship Lightning McQueen.

What do you guys think? I'll be making a Klingon ship Inspired by Tow-Mater next.

I think the nuEnterprise lends itself to the cartoonishnes due to the proportions a lot of people don't like.

Really cool no matter what ship you use MadMan.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm definitely planning to do the "Tow-Mater" Klingon ship next...then maybe the classic 1701. I didn't even think of doing the E-D, or Voyager, but those would be neat too.

USS Intrepid, I'd be honored if you put one in your girl's room. I don't think I'd be able to sell them outright, but I was planning to release the posters on my website. I'll make sure to put one up that you can download, and get printed yourself. I use Posterbrain.com... they're pretty cheap, and I've been happy with the 10 or so I've gotten from there.

More later... had a hard drive issue, so I'm getting all of my partitions moved back around on the new drive, and copying data around. Didn't lose anything, thankfully.

Ricky, congratulation on your pregnancy. As a father of two boys, Ian who is 3 and Aaron who is 22 months. I cannot tell you how much both boys love the Cars movies and tie in videos. I showed this to my wife last night and she loved it and it goes without saying that I love it as well. I can't wait to see the others in the line.

Brilliant, that's very much appreciated. She's only 15 months, but this is the sort of thing I'd love to put on her wall.

A Voyager version would be cool to see too. I always loved that design.
