My favourite bit:

CraveOnline: When the season is split, will the second half be re-branded as Season Seven?

Piers Wenger: I think it will probably... we're thinking of them as two different Seasons.

But I think for the purpose of DVD Box Sets, it will be two parts of Season Six. But we're treating them as two separate Seasons.

Does that mean in 2012 we'll get Series Eight and Nine on TV but Series Seven on DVD/Blu-Ray?

Poor old Andrew Pixley's head will explode.

I was going to go with 6a & 6b, but I guess ill end up with going with the offical wording (DVD)

If they think of them as two different seasons then they might as well be series six (the first seven) and series seven (the second half). I wonder now if that is what the future blurb meant that was mentioned in The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who? It had a page featuring possible plot points from series six and seven. I think it was pretty easy to predict what the plot of "A Christmas Carol" was going to be but I'm glad that I was near bang on. We still get Rory and Amy on the space train....interesting that he kind of almost contradicts what Steven has said about revealing who River is. Steven has been quoted as saying we'll absolutely find out who she is while Piers says there will be interesting clues.

The way I read it, Moffat said we'll find out who she is next year, but Wenger is saying that won't happen in Series 6. So it'll happen (presumably at the end of) Series 7, which will also be next year.

Not another 6b. That'd get way too confusing, I think!
did the first 6b ever actually exisit?

Rowan Sjet I like it to.

The further adventures of Two and Jamie? Heck yeah it did. They traveled for at least another 70 years before he regenerated into Three. Ok, maybe two or three years, but yes they kept working for the Time Lords for a while.
