What is you single favorite scene from the series? No runners up, no honorable mentions, just one scene.

Sisko's soliloquy at the end of 'In the Pale Moonlight'. To me it kind of encapsulated the entire series. Still gives me chills.

"Evil must be opposed:" Vedek Yassim's suicide in Rocks and Shoals is a thorough gut punch.

Weyoun drinking poisonous Kanar in front of Sisko and Dukat in Ties of Blood and Water. Their faces were hilarious.

Dukat, Keira and Garak storming the building and shouting 'For Cardassia!' .

It was difficult to pick just one scene as DS9 is full of great scenes (Dukat, pain-in-the-a.... comes to mind...)

Eddington and Sisko's verbal sparring in "For The Uniform".

    "I'm quite proud of it."
"I'll add it to the list of charges."
"Well as long as you're making a list..." Eddington fires on The Defiant while Sisko seethes with rage.

Hard to pick a favorite but probably the episode where Rom and Quark are going to the mirror universe and Rom is trying to make sense of it and how everything is alternate.

“We met in battle, sir. I was on the Saratoga at Wolf 359.”

This was the moment I knew that DS9 wouldn’t be anything like its predecessor.

There are too many to choose from, one I might've gone for has already been mentioned so I'll go with another that always springs to mind:
"Behind The Lines", the scene where Kira is stomping through the corridors to Odo's quarters, hammers the doorbell and confronts Odo, only to realise she's lost him to the Link.

"It's Easy to be a Saint in Paradise" Like on "Seinfeld the line about "A show about nothing" this is a scene and line that most represents what the entire show is at it's core and what it's status is within the Trek franchise. Which is much better than TNG"s "Were Starfleet. We don't Lie" Wesley scene that kind of represents the core of that show.

Not sure I consider it the best scene, but my favorite that comes to mind after about 45 seconds of thinking.

Kira is talking to Opaca in Battle Lines. She breaks down and says "I don't want you to think I am a violent person, and that's who I am!" And Opaca responds "Only when you come to terms with the violence within you can you move past it."

It was from the first episode, but this scene still haunts me.
“In the blink of an eye….” Damn.

I have trouble with that whole episode. It was so well done and, being a parent to two kids, I think it just kills me to think of one of my kids living their whole life trying to amend one mistake. I cried through quote a bit of it.
