Pick me some RTD (maybe Classic) Who to watch!

I've seen all the new stuff and have a small collection of old stuff, and I have to say 2 of the best classic episodes I can think of in my collection are:

1. Tomb of the Cybermen -- Troughton era story, I love the setting, a claustrophobic tomb on some far away planet way in the future.

2. City of the dead -- Tom Baker Era story, written by Douglas Adams, it's funny, smart, witty, Baker has some great comedic chops in this episode. It's about a man that has multiple copy's of the Mona Lisa and they are all genuine!

Finally got around to watching An Unearthly Child, in preparation for Hartnell's later eps. Not sure what to make of the characters yet. And I seem to have found two different versions as well, was there any reason for that?

At any rate, good to see how it all began.

In terms of Classic Who ... given that there's so deplorably little of Troughton's era still in existence, and since he was so good in the role, there's really no reason to cherry-pick his stories. Just watch 'em all.

On the classic Who front, I've not chimed in my usual recommendations for Caves of Androzani, Doctor Who and the Silurians, and Revelation of the Daleks yet. Though the problem with Revelation is that it features continuity from Resurrection, and that's not really worth it.

They filmed a pilot which wasn't aired and has miraculously survived. I do prefer the broadcast version, though.
