photobucket question

Does anyone know how you get a gif you upload to photobucket to be the same size as it originally is? Photobucket seems to shrink everything. It shrinks pics too and those you can make bigger via edit but they become blurry, unlike flickr. Flickr doesn't allow animated gifs (they did very briefly).

The shrinkage is killing me.

user settings/albums/upload options choose 1024x768 and then you can select "display my linked photos in their original size". That's the best you can do.
You can also access this setting by clicking on the gear symbol in the upper right corner of the drag and drop upload screen.
Photobucket has really gone down hill over the years.

Testing something here, feel free to ignore.

Hmmm, seems it is possible to link to the full image with photobucket still if you use the url of the full image itself. (which is like 3 clicks in to the image)

What I found was that by editing an animated gif size it stops animating.

I don't get it, other people seem to be able to reproduce big animated gifs.
