I know a colleague at work who has an Iphone and has taken photos with it for myself (work related stuff) but the photo size is way bigger than what I require. I was just wondering if there was any way to alter the image size of a photo when taken by the Iphone or are all photos taken at a deault size?

The pictures are taken in a default format, and too bad about that too...
But your computer should have MS Paint on it somewhere. I'm a photoshop user personally, but really most people don't need this sort of expensive software.
If you're feeling fancier tho, there is also GIMP, which is a good photo editing software and it is open source.
