Phoenix/Jean Grey and Wolverine

Whofan

Fleet Captain
In the X-men comics, cartoons and the movies they've often had a mutual attraction, although Jean of course married Cyclops.

However, that marriage mostly fell apart in Grant Morrison's run-Cyclops, having recently returned from being merged with Apocalypse-had changed and he started to see White Queen/Emma Frost. When Jean died (Planet X), and sort of came back in an alternate future (Here comes tomorrow), she gave Scott and Emma her 'blessing'...sort of. I'm not 100% sure about the current state of that though, I've mainly been reading back issues and not a lot of the current stuff.

Anyway, if Jean comes back (and no doubt she will) should she start a relationship with Wolverine, since Cyclops is now with Emma? I know alternate universe stories such as X-men Forever, Age of Apocalypse and X-men The End have played around with this concept....

I can never see Jean in a real relationship with Wolvie. She's too prim and proper and he's too much of an animal. Attraction, sure, but an actual relationship? No.

The Logan relationship would never work out if they ever did anything together, that's sort of the point.

Mariko was an actual Princess and he treated her fine.

Sure she's dead, probably his fault, but Mariko kept his nuts in a box by her bedside.

Jean liked a bit of rough. She didn't want Wolverine to be a better man, Red wanted to slum it and get some dirt under her fingernails.

Besrker rage.

Sex rage.

Wolverine doesn't think when he fucks.

Lwaxanna Troi and Sooki Stackhouse let us in the fetish that telepaths get off on not knowing secrets and a few moments of silence.

Fun fact. Jean's been dead in the main Marvel continuity for as long as Hal Jordan's been back as Green Lantern, both being 2004.

Only because both dont hate Scott. If he wasnt around, a relationship between JEan and Logan would work fine.

Yeah, but a relationship between Hal Jordan and Logan would never work out. besides, Hal already has a ring.

I don't think a relationship would last long. Wolverine's not the type to be tied down and the writers wouldn't let him be tied down either.

i just wanna know...why is Scott always going for women who can read his mind. Jean, Psylocke, Emma...

The boy knows he needs therapy!

Wolvie wouldn't have time for Jean, being a regular in sixteen different comics, and being on five X-teams and four Avengers teams at the same time.

Because he's one of the most stoic characters in Marvel and keeps thing very sealed up, emotion-wise. Telepathic women are desperate to see just what goes on in there.

Jean and Logan wouldn't work. The two of them have admitted this to each other before anyways. The last time was during Morrison's New X-Men run when they kissed in the forest. If anything it would be just a passionate fling if they did hook up.

Back when he was shagging Mystique she "dressed up" as Jean Grey a little.

I wonder how much Mystique shapeshifts her vagina?

It's a bit of a let down to think she can have any face in the universe but she's got monojunk?

What?

No!

No, they're not all the same!

No, it's not an extremely redundant superpower!

Sexist pig.

I used to call Sue Richards the happiest woman in the Marvel Universe because her husband can grow ridiculously so, until I realized that that title was probably held by Janet van Dyne who honestly held that title because she could "shrink" by degrees until almost anyone is technically approaching her tolerances.

(Yellow Jacket II ditto, dead also. Stature is under aged, shush.)

Do you think that Sue could maintain an invisible forcefield diaphragm during an orgasm? For contraception this might be used once or twice, since there's a good chance their children will turn evil with godlike powers and destroy the universe, that they have to be careful, but such meticulous control of the shape and texture of this energy field hugging her vaginal cavity must be affording Reed Ruchard's a unique sexual experience, that it could become a standard go-to in their bag of sextricks. But if she can't retain the fields cohesion, then it's a terrible method of contraception unless she can plan before hand whether she's going to climax, which renders the point moot?

^There was an Avengers ish with Jan and Hank vacationing (in Vegas, IIRC). It opened with Jan having an orgasm, followed a few frames later by a 3" tall Hank emerging from under the sheets.

They were in a motel room together, Jubilee (I think?) was following him because she was worried, and then out of his room she saw jean grey in slinky little lingerie, shleeping their ice bucket to the machine to be filled.

Girl was agog.

Hmmm.

I recall that comic, but I thought that a sweaty Hank Pym was seen riggling out from between Jan's Cleavage post coitus?

Issue 70 or maybe 80 something.
