...Whether even ENT made all of them human at any point is uncertain. This was sort of the worst case scenario, speculated upon at a point of the adventures after which we ceased to get further info on Klingon affairs. Possibly things turned out much more favorable to the Klingons, 'em dying in scores instead, or something.

In Discovery's world, Klingons weren't all made to look human for TOS.

Even in Enterprise not every Klingon was turned Human, it was just a few colonies that were infected.

My head canon is what the novels did, the empire used them as cannon fodder on the frontier and border, which is why the Enterprise always encountered them.

Extremely late reply. I think the Balance of Terror bolts looked great. The quick phasers bolts when they are on the surface, look more like they are shooting handguns, rather than the future phaser teopans we are used to. Maybe the SFX folks influenced by Star Wars or old raygun science fiction shows?
