They were great fun and the show may as well have been the first music videos long before MTV. The Monkees get a lot of heat for having been an industry created product, Pre-Fab Four but they are what K-Pop bands are so far as their creation is concerned.

MeTV will be playing two Peter-centric episodes of The Monkees (which isn't currently in its regular lineup) on Sunday, 02/24, at 5 p.m. EST in tribute: "One Man Shy" and "The Devil and Peter Tork".
