Who played the role of Peter Parker and Spiderman better? Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield ?

Nicholas Hammond...

Seriously I don't know as I haven't seen the new film yet. Your poll only allows one answer which is a shame as I have a sneaking suspicion I might wanna vote one of them for Peter and the other for Spidey...

Yeah it looked like a teenager had made it in his bedroom (that's meant as a compliment btw!)

As has been noted, the poll only allows you to vote for one of four; I'm guessing that you wanted voters to be able to vote for 2 (eg someone could vote for Toby as Peter but Andrew as Spidey).

I've just seen TAS today and I voted for Andrew. I liked Toby fine at the time but I prefer Andrew's attitude, voice, look and general manner. He was just closer to my idea of everyone's friendly neighbourhood Spider-man.

^To be honest that's the vibe I'm getting from the trailer but I will wait and see...

That was going to be my answer!:)

Garfield had the much better look.... but as I said in the review thread I didn't really care for how dark and moody his Peter Parker was.

Maguire's more lighthearted and geeky portrayal just felt more "right" to me. And was also a lot more fun to watch.

McGuire's "acting" was just painful to watch. Garfield was good but also a touch uninspired. But I'll go with him.
