Regular TBS sitcom, multicamera, science fictiony, focusing on a group of oddballs in a support group recovering from some what similar alien abductions. Not incredibly funny, but definitely worth a look, because... Spoilers.

:)

It's on TBS not Syfy. It is a sci-fi sitcom, but not a Syfy sitcom.
It does like fun, and I'm hoping to check it out eventually.

I just finished both episodes. I'd say it's quirky and subtly funny with a few gut-busting moments.

I loved the interactions between the three aliens. I think Don is my favourite.

Only old foggies still write out "sci-fi" in full.

(So close to death, they can waste life ignoring snappy abbreviations.)

Christ lad, I thought you were with it?

I will amend my files to reflect your reduced coolness.

I guess my sense of humor is on the fritz as I have not been able to laugh at this series so far. Maybe my humor got left behind in the 1960's.

The Blond in the support group, I saw her on @Midnight yesterday and she was brunette, but then at other points in her life, Alice has had pink hair.

What a deceitful person!

;)

I'm really enjoying the show so far. I was really shocked when they did the big reveal with Ozzie's boss, I was not expecting to get an actual B-story focused entirely on the aliens. I expected them to just be in the abduction scenes.
Which alien is Don? The Grey? I loved his breakdown over the Reptilian's body.
This is one of those kind of weird kinds of comedies where I don't find myself cracking up over it, but things are just quirky and crazy enough that I really enjoy it.

Syfy is the just the name of the network, I've never heard it used any other way. To put it in the title of the thread without clarification could be really confusing for people who don't pay attention to stuff like this, I was even confused for a moment when I first saw the title. I had just assumed you got which network it was on mixed up, so I wast trying to correct what I thought was mistake on your part.

If Syfy thinks they own the word Syfy, then they are assholes who need to be tied down like in Clockwork Orange and taught respect for their fellow man.

They created the word in order to own it because they couldn't trademark Sci Fi. They were unaware a website, Syfy Portal, was already using it. NBC Universal bought the name from and Portal rebranded itself as Airlock Alpha.

Sure, but since that's even longer than sci-fi it wouldn't really work as slang for me.
