PC failure, so updating hardware

In Memoriam
Sigh, posting from my Netbook. The desktop died today. I suspect the video card, but since this is the third videocard to die in 2 years I am going for a major gut job to eliminate whatever is killing them. I'll be replacing everything but the drives/case/and newer powersupply.

The new gear being installed:
1 Patriot Pyro 2.5" Solid State Drive - 60GB, SATA III 6Gb/s
2 AMD Entertainment Edition Desktop Memory Module - 4GB, PC3-10600, DDR3-1333MHz
1 GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 AMD 9 Series Motherboard
1 AMD FX-6100 3.30 GHz Six Core AM3+ Processor
1 PNY GeForce GTX 550 Ti Video Card

running just under $550 delivered, about all I can afford on my current budget. So, any comments on my hardware choices?

The old hardware:

asus m2n32 mobo
amd athlon 64 fx62
4gig of ddr2 ram
evga gts260 videocard

The existing harddrives (3 seagates with 400mb and 16meg of ram) will be setup in raid 5 as they are now but the new system will use the SSD as the boot drive.

good choices for a mid range pc there... I'm assuming you're going for 8gb of DDR3 and not just 4 lol... the only other thing i'd do would be stick in a larger SSD for the primary drive, 250gb or something... but that can be done later on when the prices drop a bit...

don't know about you, but my desktop tends to burn a lot of memory on the primary drive just on it's own... that's why i haven't moved to an SSD personally yet...

good MB and processor choices though :)
