I even like it better than the TV movie where he actually plays Scrooge.

his voice is just fantastic here

My wife and I have made listening to this a Christmas tradition. Every year we listen on one of our holiday driving trips. It's awesome! I love all the voices Patrick does. The film is good, but I prefer Patrick playing all the parts.

I saw him perform it, solo, years ago at Caltech. It was great!

He talked with some of us afterwards, but bastard wouldn’t sign the program from the show. There were only about 8 of us. His throat was sore--Mom gave him some ricola’s.

One of my fondest theater memories is seeing Stewart do his one man Christmas Carol play. It was extraordinary what he succeeded in doing with minimal furniture and using his voice as his primary tool. I saw it when I was a teen, so seeing him do things like change his posture to represent different characters and doubling a large table as a bed were just great to witness in person.

Yup! Same show! I still have program, in great condition, in case I ever can get him to sign it.

i've never met him in person, but other than star trek TNG, i remember watching a made-for-tv movie of "moby dick" where he gave a great performance as captain ahab.

after seeing him in that, i thought they were using that as a running inside gag throughout the TNG movies. especially in "first contact" but the tv movie was made after "first contact" i think. ah well, i still think it works.
