Out of print Star Trek book urgently wanted

I am looking for a hard cover out of print Star Trek book that I would like to have by Friday for an upcoming convention. Is there some chance that anyone has a hard copy of "Kahless" they would be willing to sell and ship overnight or two day mail? I'd pay via PayPal.

Thanks in advance.

My suggestion - Go to www.abe.com ... It's a used book website that will help you find the book you're looking for. They currently have 184 hardcover copies of Kahless, and almost as many copies in paperback.

Your profile says you're in Philadelphia. There is a bookseller listed with the name bookbrothers.net at 242 Geiger Rd in Philadelphia (phone 215-904-5602 from their website) who have the hardcover for one dollar. There are six others in Pennsylvania who have copies in HC for sale.

Since these are generally used bookstores on abe.com, they are very good about getting books out as quickly as possible, and they do take paypal. Though, if you wanted to go just pick up the book, you could probably skip paypal.

Hope this helps.

Here's the list of the hardcover ones (sorry, I missed that in your first post, but it's really pretty easy to use the amazon site to find this stuff yourself!)

All the amazon-fulfilled sellers have one-day shipping guaranteed to arrive by Wednesday, so there's no problem there, and even the first non-Amazon seller guarantees shipping by the next business day, and has expedited shipping available. Either way, it'll definitely arrive on time.

OmahaStar also has a really good suggestion. Just in general, ordering used online is a pretty easy process; don't be scared of it. Before I got my Kindle, I ordered out of print books from Amazon used all the time, and rarely had anything at all go wrong.
