    I seem to have been well recieved here, so I thought I would show some more of my work. Previously I had mostly posted these at Cardmodels.net, since my focus has been mainly papermodel creation.

    Here are a model of the NX-01 Enterprise, A Romulan Bird of Prey, and a look at a still unfinished Enterprise-B

    I also included my Plans for the 1701-B as well

    NX-01 cardmodel -> http://www.mediafire.com/?2t1wzzh9qyg
    1701-B plans -> http://www.mediafire.com/?5llc9edmddl
    1701-B cardmodel preview -> http://www.mediafire.com/?5mx5td0dsmf
    Romulan Bird of Prey cardmodel -> http://www.mediafire.com/?4lwlmme4whv

    let me know what you think of these

    I just wanted to add a couple of images of the NX model.
    I've only been able to test build a few parts of this version, and heres the images.

    If anyone builds this, I would love to see some images of the completed model! Ive only built a fully completed version of a previous, and smaller, no texture version!

    I was looking at your Enterprise-B and NX-01 and I have to say, they look really good. I'd seen the others before, but hadn't seen you recent developements to the other two. How do you unwrap these once you get them built up, in the computer? What program is your basic tool set?

    You really should show your NX-01 prints separately. Those look great.

    as you know, I dont use any 3d myself........
    its just a drawn out process of figuring out how to make it in paper and working out the logistics of each part 1 at a time. just a lot of trig and geometry...
    sorry scratch that... (A TON of it)
    by now though I have an incredible spreadsheet database I developed for it... i just plug in the measures and it almost tell me how to fold it.
    the worst part is texturing once its parted out.... sometimes I really hate the gfx...

    Have you ever used Pepakura, or Metasequoia? I know there's another unwrap program that can be used, but I'm not sure of it's capabilities, nor of it's transferability with CAD, of other programs.

    I have both actually, but dont really use them much for this. You need a 3d design before pep will unfold it anyway.
    Im not actually that much of a fan of most Pep models.
    (not that there arent good ones out there.)

    been grappling with my NX. once the dimension errors were discovered I have been heavy into the re-design, and working on how to "fix" the ovular shap of the dish and make a circle of it for the plans/model and get everything to look correct without making it obvious... all of the "lines" on the hull that make up the paneling, as well as the cbd's (cargo bay doors) align with a false centerline aft of the actual centerline...

    I've been shamefully avoiding my Refit plans as well while I work on this (sorry)

    You don't have to explain the Refit thing to me. It's your life man, besides, I know what it's like to want to change up once in awhile. :lol:

    I was just wondering if you had made progress. Did the Akira files help? I know it wasn't much and I doubted that it would be of any benefit, but thought it was worth a try.

    Yeah, the link worked, but it was all code. No button.
