We recently wrapped "Orphans of War", the short film produced at Hidden Frontier Studios in Los Angeles with the casts of both Hidden Frontier, Odyssey, and Intrepid.

This was a very special event in the fan film world because the cast of Intrepid came to Los Angeles to join forces with Hidden Frontier to film a Star Trek fan film in just one day!

The preview is available here: Orphans Preview Thread
along with photos of the shoot.

Enjoy!

Hidden Frontier have always been at the forefront of the Trek fanfilm world, so I think it's pretty cool that they should be responsible for what I believe is the very first fanfilm series team up video.

Though I doubt it'll be the last. :)

Do you have a release date yet?
Apologies, ozgood, I neglected to answer that last time.

No solid date yet that I'm aware of, but David is currently scoring it, and once that's done I believe we're pretty much there. So the wait shouldn't be too long.

Looks great as always. Any idea on a release date?

I thought that Intrepid already teamed up in the form of a counselor cameo in the sixth season - then again I may be wrong.

No that's right, but that was a simple cameo. This is an actual fanfilm teamup, with both crews working together. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been one of those yet, at least not in the Star Trek genre. There have been a number of cameos though.

Very nice preview. I'll have to take a look at what Intrepid has so far.

Although the Babylon 5 music was an unexpected choice. I recognized "Battle Sequence E" immediately.
