I have this vintage 1979 Enterprise cutaway poster which I'm getting ready to sell. Any ideas on a value or an outlet??? Has everyone seen this one before... I haven't been able to find another online anywhere for some reason.

It's around 5 or 6 feet wide by about two feet high.

The practise of signing up to this forum in order to solicate/seek valuations, etc is frowned upon. This forum doesn't operate a shilling section, therefore you will not find many people willing to help you out.

I recommend you go elsewhere, maybe try actual collectors forums or perhaps search around to see if any other of these posters have been sold.

Yes, I used to see this giant poster for sale at Australian conventions in the 80s. I have the licensed Mind's Y Press "ST IV: The Voyage Home" Enterprise-A version of the cutaway painting as a 18"x24" jigsaw puzzle.

I wasn't looking to ruffle anyone's feathers. I've been a genuine trekkie since I was a young lad in the 70's, so I should actually fit in here to a large degree... or perhaps not. I thought many might be delighted to see this poster up here, as I still have not found any info on this guy anywhere online whatsoever... to be continued.

Nice... Conventions back in the 80's, those must have been rather interesting... I wonder how many of these are still around.

Thanks for reaching out to new life... in a new civilization.

Ebay is going to be your best bet. I have seen that poster before, but never saw one that large.

I have the one that was re-released as the TVH version, yet the people in the ship still have TMP uniforms and they added "A" to the 1701. Mine is only about a yard wide. Still a pretty cool cutaway.

Cool poster dude... If I knew, I'd help you in a second. The internet is your friend!

I have the TVH version too (and the jigsaw puzzle thereof). It's kind of misleading to stick the -A on the hull, since as we saw in TFF and TUC, the A's interior has some significant differences from the TMP refit (such as the shuttlebay design that's closer to the TOS shuttlebay, the engine room that's a redress of the TNG engine room, etc.). And, yes, as remarked above, the crew in the poster has the TMP uniforms. Still, it's a cool reference, although my poster suffered some damage in a move.

traveler, I'm going to close this and since you appear to be new here, make sure you know that you don't solicit here. Thank you.
