Ontário Class

As I’m deviating significantly from the original design by DJ Curtis (the Alberta Class), I’ve decided to name her the Ontário Class - USS Ottawa (launched between 2355 and 2380). I rebuilt the neck once again, and it now looks much better. As suggested, I turned the Bussard collectors red and, as a nod to the Enterprise-C, the blue elements on top of the nacelles now have some gaps.

I love the simplicity of the secondary hull alluding to the Galaxy class yet to come, as well as the use of the Enterprise B cues, and she even has a hint of the Ambassador in some details. Excellent.

Impulse engines updated. I think it’s much better and more in line with the timeframe for this ship.

Shuttle bay doors installed. I also changed the shape of the observation dome, added sensors under the saucer and a collar around the neck, and put a captain (1,87 m tall) in the scene for scale purposes. I changed the shape of the pylons too.

It's like those houses with two garage doors. One is actually useful, and the other you can't get in because a bunch of boxes of Christmas decorations and unused workout equipment is stored in there.

Yeah, you´re correct bro.

Update:

• The bay now has one door instead of two.
• Installed torpedo launchers in the neck and at the back.
• Added some preliminary painting and a few details all around.
• Lastly, cleaned up the geometry a bit.

Love the design! Would look right at home in one of the original six movies or even as a “Lost Era” ship in early Next Generation. You definitely got the design language down pat. Looking forward to see where you are taking it with detailing.
