Only God Decides When The 'Earth Will End'

How would you describe this bible business to a pagan, a taoist or a computer? How would you explain it to a logical creature like Dr Spock or an alien

and how exactly would the Biblical God destroy Earth, would he sneeze and blast Earth into the Sun? Or how does it work?

He then pulls out two other idiotic arguments which really don't help matters.

God has shown no inclination to prevent a single major catastrophe up to this point, man-made or otherwise.

People do, however, pray to Him to get them out of trouble for DUIs and such.
