What if none of the Jem'Hadar needed the drug.

They just tough out the withdraws ,and that's it.

It has been a long time since I saw the ep but if they don't need the drug then they shouldn't suffer much in the way of withdrawals as their body would supply all they need. Clearly they were all suffering greatly suggesting they needed it, plus you would think Bashir would have checked to see if the others have the random mutation or whatever it was the First had.

They die without it... so they do indeed need it. (And I mean *die* aside from the fact they go all homicidal without it.)
