On Bow Ties

okay, so I'm afraid I don't have any earth shattering spoilers about season seven on me, but I've spent the last week trying to figure out how to do this so I thought I would pass it along; a way of macguyvering an ordinary necktie into a fairly passable bow for any impromptu doctor who cosplay

I hope that someone else finds it as useful as I do!

indeed, my problem is I already had about five neck ties lying around, and I'm cheap so I found it easier to spend a week inventing a knot than paying for an actual bow tie or a clip on

I have had this clip on since the early 1980s and it cost me very little at the used clothing store all those years ago. But it helps me pull off my awesome Troughton outfit.
