Game Old Trek Games: Armada 2

After 26 years of gaming (yeah was 12 when starting ^^) i decided not to buy and play the latest expensive games, but stick to the GEMS of the decades...

Armada 2´s original gameplay was not mine. But with current days mods its awesome!


I´d love to play it again. Anyone here wanting to play? I am in the european time zone...

if someone is a newbee or expert, i am willing to adjust settings so that it is fun for BOTH sides

Last time I player Armada 2 was last year with Friends, but with the new computers It didn't work anymore.

I believe I have played fleet ops Dominion once, is that the game where you can't warp anymore?

Yeah fleetOps is a total conversion its without warping, but runs a new pcs.

For fleetOPs there are a number of possible submods
Dominion War Mod is one of them.

Hamachi is great for hosting games, plus anything else like gametracker etc.

Also i re-buyed the CD and its currently somewhere under way.

I´d love to play Star Trek Armada 2 online, once the two issues are done. I am in the europen time zone.

Ive been trying to get fleetops work on windows 10...forever. I keep getting a "you need a cd" error...any suggestions?

If you want to play fleetops singleplayer you need either your own cd OR in LAN/INTERNET maybe if someone else has a one cd for 4 player. I ordered me a new CD and have 2 pcs, so i will test if fleetops works if only 1 of 4 internetplayer have a cd.

I don't recall owning numberr 2, but I had 1. Loved the music and the colorful space gases. I remember the story being awesome. Rewatched the opening cinematic. Not quite as thrilling as it was back then, but still cool.

I replayed this a few years ago. The only major bug is that the Stardates in the results screen no longer work

Oh no, my friend bought a new computer and he tried EVERYTHING but can't get Armada 2 running again.

Armada II can run on Windows 10. The way I got it was following online guides. Install the game. Install the 1.1 patch, then the 1.3 patch. Then try compatibility thingies.

I ran fleetOpsMod + Dominion War Mod. Works fine on w10. i play it casualy if someone wants to play a game once in a while.
