My Son owns both series on DVD- Trek is his go-to one though.
Irwin Allen always did cool stuff... and so does Artman. I hope he does this kind of stuff for a living. If I did, I'd never retire.

Came across this and thought you guys might enjoy it. A picture of me (stylin') with my friend patty the kick ball fanatic (notice the one sock). This photo was taken either late September or early October of 1966 ... Just around the premier date of TOS. I was 12... enjoy old timers!

Thanks, Yes I have always wanted to know what it appeared like when they (Kirk and crew) talked on the bridge about taking evasive maneuvers . . . words simply did not do such actions any real justice, they really needed to show the nimbleness of the Enterprise out is space as she dipped and spun around avoiding a photon torpedo here and firing a killer phaser shot there. That is kind of what was on my mind when I put this image together.
I started watching Star Trek on NBC in 1966. My grandpa used to give my mom 10 cents every Saturday morning to go to the movies in the 1930's and 1940's; and I can't picture her expecting me to love the icons of her youth.
It so happened that I ate a bowl of Frosted Flakes and watched reruns of Cisco Kid, Gene Autry and Hopalong Cassidy on TV at 6 a.m. every Saturday morning myself in the 1950's and 1960's; so now I do still love those icons.
But if someone of the STNG generation can't get into TOS, I wouldn't have a hard time understanding why. They don't need to knock it, but that's more than likely in response to having it thrown in their faces all the time.
