Old old Excelsior kitbash

Something I did in paint a few years ago based off a Lego design I have. The Lego ship looks far better but same idea. Excelsior design with "thicker" saucer. For this I just stacked em but it give the effect. If I can get a pic of the Lego ship later I'll post it, but here yah go. *Flame suit*

Not sure where the dot on the Ent-B hull came from

It might work better if the 'thicker' portion had more of a 'Constellation' type feel, with the deckings intersperced with the hangars, extended sensor arrays, and all that. Less 'horizontal' lines, and more 'structural' details rather than windows.

Agreed. I can't do much now to the design you see here because I
only have this saved off of my photobucket account, I don't have
the original anymore. Infact if it was a more direct representation
of the Lego ship it probably would have very few or no horizontal lines.

I actually see it with a TNG/Post TNG feel though.
The Excelsior was the closest hull configuration that worked.

I'm gunna see bout the pic of the Lego model now, be back soon.

EDIT: So apparently my camera is only capable of taking shitty, blurry images. T
That may be a no go, I'll see what I can do.

Interesting.

The Zaire-Class (Excelsior, Mk. VII)

A Heavy Cruiser (Border TMP / TNG-Era, "Lost Years"). The immediate "inspiration" / predecessor / "grandfather" to the Sovereign-Class.
