Oh snap, KNH is modelling ships now.

'lo folks. This month's contest has intrigued me, a lot, and so I've started taking baby steps with modelling.



I'm not sure if it's alien enough yet. The jagged edges and dirt-washed jaggy texture is intentional to create contrast to the usually smooth lines and fine coloring/aztecing we've come to know from Starfleet. I'm not sure if I want to keep the gunbarrels up front... heck I'm not sure where this thing is going at all.

That being said, hit me with a broadside of critique torpedos, payload set to constructive I know I'm probably doing a thousand things wrong, but a guy's gotta start somewhere in the realms of 3D, no?

 

Is this the Starship Craftsman, or the U.S.S. Porter Cable?

It actually looks like the excelsior class with the Future techno armour Admiral Janeway installed onto Voyager

 

Looks like something from You'd see from a Anime

 

Captain Makita, Science Officer Ryobi, Chief Medical Officer DeWalt, Chief Engineer Dremel, Helm & Nav officers Black and Decker.

No, its very original so it needs to stay, it fits the design very well.
