After some initial reports and speculation, it's finally official. Time Life - the same guys who did the fantastic Man from UNCLE briefcase set a few years ago - will be releasing a 40 (!!!) DVD set containing the entire Six Million Dollar Man series in November.

The set is also going to include the 3 reunion TV movies and the crossover episodes with Bionic Woman, The (I'll use TV Shows on DVD's format so I don't get into trouble).
As for Bionic Woman, The, also today an official release date has been announced for Season 1: October 19

Only sad part is I'd have rather a complete series set of BW been issued as well. But hopefully Universal will follow through with the rest of the series.
The only stink in the perfume store is the fact Time Life only offers these things through mail order initially (talking SMDM here; BW will be released normally). So if you actually want to see this in a store you're probably looking at Christmas 2011 or later. But then, is ordering from T-L any different than ordering from Amazon anyway?
This is a good day. You young'uns might not feel the love (especially if you think Bionic Woman began and ended with Michelle Ryan), but as a huge fan of the old shows, I've been waiting - no joke - 30 years for such a release. I've made do with the crappy AVIs and Youtube rips and probably would have ended up with a recorded-off-SciFi bootleg set at some point. I'd much rather have the professional stuff and the extras!
Fingers crossed this sets a precedent for Batman.
