Official!! Paramount Moves Release Date Back To May

Due to unprecidented out crying on the part of fans around the world, Paramount has taken drastic steps to ensure that the film will indeed be released on May 8th 2008 as originally promised. Studio executives have gone on record as saying that it is regretable that they cannot have it ready sooner to coincide with the unofficial yet often observed holiday of April fools day.

Yeah, I hope I didn't cross any board rules, but I couldn't resist. April fools day has always been one of my favorites since I was a kid. A family classic was the time I got this fake, though fairly realistic looking bird from the local arts and crafts store, rolled it in some catnip and threw it on the living room floor. The cat loved it, my mom freaked and a good time was had by all.

I'll feel sorry for any famous people in science fiction if they happen to die today. Which reminds me of my original less tame idea for a joke. But upon further consideration, even I didn't think it would be funny, So this was the best I could do; You owe me one Shat.

Oh it was supposed to be this Christmas and was moved to May of 09. For some reason, I thought it was supposed to come out this May, and was pushed back until Christmas. Oh well, shows how anxious I am counting the days for this thing to come out. To be honest, they could move it to February of 2015 for all I would care.
